A local favorite is geared to make its triumphant return to the shore. The Jersey Shore Restaurant Week will be sharing its wonderful selection of local delicacies created by local culinary luminaries in its 8th straight year. The event is designed as a showcase of the outstanding restaurants and chefs on the shore as well as their gourmet creations.

Over 90 different restaurants are set to take part in the 10-day event. Each of the participating restaurants will be creating special 3-course dinners priced between $22.16 and $32.16. This is an incredible way to get and experience the best food on the shore, at a great price.

In addition to the special 3-course meal options available at restaurants up and down the coast, sponsors have also put together a series of special events for locals to enjoy. Restaurant Week Special Events:

Thursday, November 10 - The Dream Dinner, Cross & Orange (Asbury Park),
Just picture this. The shore's top 5 chef's are getting together to create one unforgettable meal, to be paired with amazing wines from Washington and Oregon. It's not hard to understand why this is among the most popular and looked-forward to events of Restaurant Week each year! This year's participating chefs include:

  • Vince Campaniello from the Cross and Orange in Asbury Park.
  • Andrew Maglione from Waypoint 622 in Brielle.
  • Dan Picard from Daniel's Bistro in Point Pleasant.
  • Chuck Lesbiel from Ama Ristorante in Sea Bright.
  • Jay Mac from the Sunburst Pie Company in Manasquan.

Saturday, November 12 - Saturday at the Shore, The Irish Rail (Manasquan)
Come out and enjoy a delicious combination of Cape May Oysters paired with an ice-cold Guiness. Of course, there will also be a sampling of Rail's delicious treats. Drop by from 12 to 2, and tickets are limited.

Sunday, November 13 - The Great Jersey Shore Martini Contest, Doolan's Shore Club (Spring Lake)
A popular event sponsored by Triple 8 Vodka from Nantucket, this event attempts to answer a question found upon the lips of many New Jerseyans - "who makes the best Martini on the shore?" Local Jersey Shore bartenders from up and down the coast come together to compete for this coveted title. Come out to sample some fantastic martinis! The event is set to take place between 1 and 4, and is for those 21 years of age and older.

Saturday, November 19 - Burgers, Bloodies & Brews, Harpoon Willy's (Manasquan)
This the event to be a part of and regularly sells out year after year so get your tickets early! Come out and try a delicious choice 3 kinds of burgers, bloody marys and delicious local brews. Oh, and there is live music too! The event takes place from 12 to 4.

Sunday, November 20 - Regions of Italy: Wines, Cheeses & Pastas, Asbury Hotel (Asbury Park)
Take a delicious culinary journey through the different regions of Italy. The event is co-hosted by JSRW and Joe Leone's Italian Specialties, and features a selection of wine, cheeses and pastas for each of the unique regions of Italy.
