Easter festivities start early along the Jersey Shore, beginning the weekend of March 18th and spilling over into the following Easter Weekend proper. With so much to see and do, don’t be left at home on the couch!

March 19/20 Weekend

Belmar Children’s Easter Egg Hunt

Taking place on March 19th, the fun annual event for local children is expected to feature more than 3000 eggs! The eggs will be found on Second Avenue Beach in Belmar and the event is open to children between the ages of 1-9. Find the two specially marked eggs to find tickets for special prizes. Also, join the Easter Bunny for a personal meeting after the hunt!

Cookie Decorating & Crafts with the Easter Bunny at Ocean County Mall

Join the Easter Bunny for the creation of unique, holiday-themed crafts and cookie decorating. Taking place at Ocean County Mall in Toms River, NJ, children will also have the opportunity to take a photo with the bunny! The event is absolutely free and the bunny will be on-hand from 10 to 3!

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

A unique spin on the classic Easter-time activity, the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt is coming to Middletown, NJ on March 18! Older children will have the opportunity to scour an open field for chocolate confections using only the light of their flashlight, and the moon if they’re lucky. March 26/27 Weekend

Jerkinson’s Boardwalk

Jerkinson’s in Point Pleasant Beach is all about Easter, starting with the weekend leading up to Easter. Children can enjoy an incredible Easter egg hunt that is split into 4 different age categories, 0-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10. These events take place on Saturday, March 19. And the following weekend, locals can enjoy 2 for 1 pricing on the attractions on the iconic boardwalk.

Allaire Village Easter Egg Hunt

Set to take place on March 26, the historic Allaire State Park in Wall Township is to host a number of engaging Easter-themed events for the family. Take part in the Handmade Bonnet contest and take in the Easter Parade, plus there will be plenty of arts and crafts, and other activities to keep the children entertained.

Easter Brunch

What’s Easter without some incredible food? If Easter egg hunts and plush bunny rabbits aren’t your thing, come by the Majestic Hotel, just north of Bradley Beach. You’ll love the lavish buffet offerings and great dinner menu. Meal tickets are $32 for adults, and only $16 for children. Drinks are BYOB!
