Check out these five great tips to help you sell your luxury home more quickly and for the most money:
1. Make the Right First Impression
We cannot understate how important that first impression is, especially if you're trying to sell your luxury or waterfront home. Whether you enhance the curb appeal with newer landscaping or get a new front door or get the home professionally staged, buyers will be influenced by that all-important first impression.
2. Market Your Home Through Many Avenues
Just like advertising for your business, you need to advertise your luxury home to help get it sold. That means exposing it to as many potential buyers around your Bay Head area as possible through the internet, social media, newspaper ads, video and any other avenue that gets people to notice your house. A good REALTOR® can certainly be the conduit to get your home properly marketed to sell quickly. They also have a large network of contacts.
3. Patience Might be Required
When it comes to needing some patience the idea is not feel pressure to sell quickly. Listen to your real estate agent and don't settle for a lowball offer, which you may get when you initially put your luxury home on the market. The bottom line is unless you really need to sell quickly, you should be patient with the process.
4. Don't Work Against Your Agent
A REALTORS®' primary goal is to have happy clients, however there may be times when your agent will dish out some hard truths about your property you might not want to hear. Just remember your real estate agent is looking out for you and trying to help you sell your house as quickly as possible for as much money.
5. Think About Extra Incentives
Sometimes if you're close to making a deal for your luxury home, you can throw in some extras to help the buyer get over that final hurdle. Are you in a position where you can throw in some furniture or artworks? Often this can bridge the gap and get your home sold.
